Current Legal Aspects of Mental Health
Mental health is a hot topic. Recent changes in PEI show us that mental health is starting to be viewed differently here. Join us on Saturday, February 24th from 10am-12pm at the Robin L. Cottonwood Center, Bunbury, PEI, for a seminar by Dr. James Moran, Associate Professor of History at the University of Prince Edward Island.
Dr. Moran teaches courses in Canadian History, historiography, and the history of health, science and medicine. His academic work focuses on researching and publishing about the history of mental health, a topic he feels is as important today as it has been at any point in the past. He is a recipient of a Hessian Award for Teaching, the highest honour that the UPEI Faculty Association can bestow upon one of its members to recognize their skill and ability as a university teacher.
This seminar is pay what you want, in other words, by donation, at the door. However, we would still appreciate registration by EventBrite (no payment required here) so that we can plan appropriately for the event!
